We would like to introduce you to the Animal Rehab & Wellness Center located in Pace, FL!
We offer a state of the art facility and the latest in rehabilitation equipment.
Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience for your clients and the best treatment for your patients. We will utilize a variety of treatment modalities in order to optimize recovery, relieve discomfort, achieve optimal performance, and improve quality of life.
Collaboration with our staff provides you the opportunity to offer extended services to your clients. Rehab will speed post-op recovery rates by up to 50%, provide a care path for non-surgical cases, address aging issues and provide fitness activities for overweight pets. We will also provide your clients with a home care program, and refer back to you when needed for rechecks, medications, and diet recommendations.
Post-Operative Rehabilitation - If a patient is recovering from a traumatic injury or orthopedic surgery, we will consult with you to create an Individualized Rehabilitation Plan for recovery. Treatment modalities will be determined based on referring medical needs. The pet’s return to function and comfort are our primary concerns.
Non-Surgical Rehabilitation - If surgery is not an option we will consult with you to develop an Individualized Rehabilitation Plan to increase strength, improve coordination, and relieve pain. It is estimated that 20% of dogs have osteoarthritis, and physical rehabilitation will improve range of motion, prevent muscle atrophy, and reduce or eliminate the need for pain medications, steroids, and NSAIDS. Rehab is also an excellent option for overweight pets to facilitate weight loss.
